You won’t be able to upkeep slaught stacks vs rotten clowncar. The moment you out of ultis (2), it will fall off.
Obviously slaughterer is hard to keep going in armor waves, if this weapon had headtaker itd be better off probably. Also most people don’t realize H2 has better stagger.
I’ve stopped using crusher on havoc even on arbi, who has access to rending. Elevated carapace HP more or less doomed it.
I know people who outcompete on it. But I don’t like it. Probably needs tweaked values. We are still in the middle of inflation after all.
Depends on the player skill in the lobby really. The problem with most of this threads comparisons is once again:
- Fear of crushers.
- DS4 being allowed to be this unhinged for this long.
This game would make more sense to more players if we could cut armor density and nerf DS4.
No, it does not depen on player skill.
All I have to do is post a scoreboard from Orjan to win any arguement lmaoooo
H40 Indignatus Crusher Zealot.
And still nowhere near the dmg he would have done with a better weapon. Fury can make any weapon work.
Most of that dmg is also being ahead of team killing things first.
if you win the match (while contributing ofc), what does the damage value inherently matter? that’s not the strict measure of success. winning is.
Certainly, however, this thread is about zealot damage, comparing the tools at your disposal.
Which is something only zealot can do.
This man has never kited a day in his life ![]()
Also true, but it also skews overall damage done.
Well no, it doesn’t. It paints a false picture about damage potential rather.
Damage done is damage done, nothing to skew about ![]()
Honestly, to sum it up:
The reason why Zealot feels low dmg: chorus, end of.
Nuking every weapon in this game to shock maul level or below is what actually needs to happen
Shock maul is awesome tho, you meant indignatus.
Crusher would be fine with higher carapace ADM too.
Orjan is a monster(in a good way), i played with him 2 times(not this mission). Not exactly best example to show, due to how strong he is. Doubt many can push crusher to this levels of damage.
Also he uses fury, but meta is still chorus bot, many if not most people just don’t take zealots with fury or stealth. There’s good chance that even he wouldn’t do these numbers with it.
Anyway I written earlier in this post that for the most part low damage of zealot stems from being limited by chorus meta and yesterday became even more convinced of this.
Yesterday in havoc 40 we had stealth zealot, he did 2 million damage in winning run and had great clutch in failed run, anyone who reads this can even confirm that if he checks DaveeBoy stream recording on twitch, 5:42:19 time stamp for scoreboard.
I hope new class will be somewhat worse than zealot at melee, but his support ability will cuck chorus out of meta, while at the same time give to zealot enough buffs, so people still take zealots to havoc.
He is. Every time I see him play is a blast. He’s much better than I am.
It’s about time I start making some waves, maybe bother somepeople, and explain that support abilities are lowskill meta not highskill meta and there’s a big different between the two.
I have been saying since havoc came out that Chorus is very overrated. The reason people gravitate to it is because it can save your teams bacon. But if your team’s bacon doesn’t need saving all it does is dumpster your damage. I tend to deal around 1.5-2 million damage in a typical havoc but if I run chorus i usually do half that.
Chorus of course has tremendous team utility and is really strong for that in its own way - but you are just standing there doing half of nothing besides suppression and stagger for a long time and you give up a lot of zealot’s burst potential.
A lot of players have pretty big ego’s about being able to clear Havoc 40 but for some reason aren’t willing to actually admit its a really hard game mode. Havoc 40 is very very hard. Even just 1 kinda mediocre player can make 3 strong players have a hard time winning. 4 strong players can play havoc like an Auric. Support abilities solve the former. But its more optimal for 4 stronger plaeyrs to do the latter - just like in auric where damage not support is king.
With how much defense this build gives up, you are the one who gets decimated, but for sure stealth zealot can dish out damage.
