I’ve finished many Legend Full Book Solo w/ Bot runs where I maybe threw one grenade. So the bots being able to hand them to me didn’t really matter. Maybe Cataclysm is different, but we shouldn’t expect Solo w/ Bots to be clearing H40

I mean it is doable in Solo, bots would absolutely help to take some of the steam away from you if you can build them tanky

i would imagine its simple cost to benefit. We don’t know what killed it back at launch, we know it was close, and we know they didn’t expect any troubles, but then it vanished.

Might have been ditched for Xbox as they demand feature parity. and i doubt they would want to advertise that.

could be a security issue the way the game hands of between servers

but id guess the amount of work and the type of it (ie who does it) it would take to get this feature to an official product standard is just not worth the cost , and here is where mods make good the enemy of the perfect.

which sometimes is a benefit, since some people are too way far away from the official servers, and if they were happen to play with people nearby them through local hosting, it would be actually better for them with better ping latency.

i don’t know when i run solo play with the mod which runs offline, it runs way better than live, i don’t think it would tax as much with p2p. it is just a matter of having a good cpu and then the host can host wtih no problems

real theory that nobody seems to accept
is that fatshark simply struggle with normal updates, it is normal and safe to assume that solo play is the last priority for them and they will only add it, when the game is in its final stage, aka when the game won’t receive any updates anymore, just like vt2 (still updated but not as much as before)

That’s my favorite part about the “The 30-month old statement hasn’t changed!” argument. If that were the case, then they wouldn’t be prevented from saying “It’s still not a priority” but the response from Strawhat (the last employee who responded to a Solo Mode post with any directness) was something like “I don’t have anything I can share.”

Side Note: Strawhat responds to solo mode posts and then “leaves” and suddenly no employees respond to solo mode posts?
