question is, does it count as “unreasonable” to ask for a higher difficulty setting, disconnected from any balance below just so people with thousands of hours can progress on their journey upwards rather than stagnate ?
nothing so far felt “broken” to me and i for one enjoyed not having cleared melk weeklies in 2-3 sessions of auric maelstrom back to back which is the usual start of a week.
keep stuff up until t5 HISTG as is but add tons more options to auric maelstrom for those seeking the challenge, i don´t see anyone losing that way.
All the Recons are really good right now. I hope they don’t get slapped again like the tradition has been whenever they start creeping out of the refuse bin. 7a has as much cleave as an Mk8 braced autogun. Hipfiring the magazine with zero spread through lines of enemies has rekindled Executioner Stance for me.
And my time honored double stamina node with onslaught is just gross, infernus + headhunter typical critbuild. Laser beams all day. Glad I picked up that drop trooper set now for larping.
Did the sneak this back in again on the q-t ??
Maybe it was just an odd game and I’m imagining it, but just come out of one where you poke your head out, your toughness is gone.
I’ve been running at least one Auric a night recently after getting dumpstered down to vanilla Damnation when the patch broke.
I honestly am wondering if the usual disaster trains are actually my teammates being ‘new’ to the game and loading up the hardest difficulties due to returning for the patch.
Because it’s now pretty smooth sailing overall - still hard, but the average Auric player is more competent it seems.
Maybe they toned the Director back down on the backend? Haven’t seen Crusher trains of 5-6 since the first couple days after the update.
