True she does work with everything, but the spear with its high default stamina, large block/push area and versatility in being good against basically everything although not specialized makes it a great pick for her who works mainly in melee.
Sure you can bring daggers and use her special to get by in hordes, or you use glaive and use dodge passives and her special to compensate for the low speed.
Or the wardancer blade i suppose, but to be honest i never really figured out how to use that well, always felt like a worse spear in effect with how i was playing it, its awkward swings made things difficult and the heavy didnt feel like it was quick or damaging enough, ontop of the weapon being slower overall, also really bad with mixed hordes-
Spear doesnt really have any huge weakness aside from basic attacks hitting fewer targets, it has great synergy with every talent and passive she has ontop of being a fast weapon that also hits hard…did i mention that the spear´s light attacks decimate stormvermin very easily on headshots?
meh, I dunno, I have a few hundred hours exclusively on her. And I don’t really like the spear, just can’t seem to make it work as well as the glaive.

Well, if you push/cleave - light - cleave you cant really feel the difference
Im the type that likes to move around and dodge a ton to keep myself from ever being flanked or caught by a special so i find both spear and SnD to be really great, although i favor the spear just slightly more as the reach adds safety.
But i did extensively play with glaive and i do admit that the weapon does have its own charm, done well and you can cleave your way through hordes in a way no other elf weapon does which is quite satisfying, and the second heavy is satisfying to land as well…it feels powerful? Although i am sure it will be even a little better once the bugfixes for the crit thing roll out.
I just got frustrated eventually as i suck at dealing with sudden packmasters/leeches while using it x)
Speak for yourself OP. I love HM, it’s my favorite character. The crazy mobility and great weapon selection are unbeatable and I have trouble picking another character to play when all the lobbies are full of keri’s already.
eta: If you aren’t playing it at 25+ with the stealth on dash, you can’t truly evaluate the career. It’s an absolute game changer.
