Okay, “Socrates” ![]()
Mike here summarized it pretty well.
It’s not mistakes happening. It’s that it’s their modus operandi since inception of the company. And it will continue until they go bankrupt or the sun burns up, whichever happens first. Not sure how they do it, but Fatshark somehow continues it’s ascension, despite poor launch receptions.
despite not coming within an order of magnitude of the toxicity and anger seen from games like World of Warcraft
I played FFXIV when the “WoW Refugees” changed games. I remember so many people being met with “it’s ok, here’s what you did wrong” and responding with “this is new, I’m used to constant toxicity for any slight mistake in WoW”. WoW is a cesspool. There were also tons of posts on reddit thanking the FF community (which has toxicity of its own) for being more friendly and welcoming in their 6 months playing than they ever received in their 10+ years of WoW.
This has nothing to do with Fatshark or the forums, just wanted to drive the point home that WoW is much worse I guess?
Ohhhhhh, they deserve it my man, they so deserve it. But they will also deserve my positive review when the crafting update hits.
Still. I am not going to praise Fatshark for something we literally told them to do from the very beginning. This is so damn basic, Fatshark should still be ashamed for what they did to the release version.
The saddest part of all, and the reason why they still deserve the negativity, is the extremely high possibility that they learned absolutely nothing out of this experience. That we will see the same damn amateur mistakes in their next game, if they even dare to make another one.
And yet you managed to get yourself a ban here
honestly, is only “above board” here because you can get thrown out for that here unlike the steam forums.

Not just a console issue, since the secrets of the machine god update I crash within 2 minutes of being in game. Totally unplayable, totally unacceptible…
I dont understand this post because nobody on console has anywhere near as many settings to toil with as players on pc nor does this fix the issue at hand. I will never understand people that are just like welp im fortunate enough to not experience this and nobody on reddit knows what theyre talking about so the problem doesnt exist as far as im concerned. I mean youre just flat out wrong. Also just because the average redditor doesnt know jack about the game doesnt mean what theyre experiencing doesnt exist or isnt a valid complaint. The performance on xbox has been absolutely miserable since mid april and there are posts all over these forums and reddit describing the exact same experience wether you believe it to be true or not. Also its not exclusive to console it also happens on pc. This is a known problem that exsists that has been discussed every which way possible in detail everywhere that it can possibly be talked about. The problem is an amd issue and xbox runs on amd which is why most of the complaints come from console players. The people on pc who complain about this problem use amd drivers and this has been a problem forever now but it is particularly bad after updates and performance has been in the worst state ever since path of redemption update. Also dont you think if there were any settings on console we could change to remedy this we would have already done that as opposed to dealing with the game crashing every single day for 90 days straight? Also nobody said you had to “care” about reddit necause what i mentioned was in reference to the dozens and dozens of similiar complaints regarding performance on console since the path of redemption update. You in particular not having any crashing issues has absolutely nothing to do with the validity of what the rest of us are experiencing nor are we tech illiterate because we experience performance issues with a game that is notorious for having abysmal performance. Oh yes its totally my fault and my fault only that the game has crashed daily for more than 90 days straight on console. The one thing ive been told console players can do is to uninstall the game and reinstall the game but that doesnt at all fix the problem and there are no settings we can change to fix said problem so idk what fixes you so confidently speak of. I never said every single person playing this game experiences crashing i said people on both platforms have and that its particularly bad on console which is true.
