Teleporting rescueable teammates?

So adding guards to defend the people waiting for rescue is a fine idea, but teleporting them is probably a terrible idea. Teammate can literally be like 30 meters away after battling to get to us for 10 minutes and than we teleport to 150 meters from them to the next section of the map.

a better idea might be to have the guards actually escort us to a different part of the map after some time, or simply leave us where we are like in vermintide 2. usually players die in big battles and the living teammates have to finish that battle and still battle on the way to save the teammates, so teleporting them makes rescue almost completely pointless since the chance of you actually getting to rescue anyone is so low when you teleport, especially since you are teleporting them to the next “section” of the map. I’d imagine on high difficulty this makes rescue pretty much not viable at all. even on low difficulty it is stopping almost all the rescue attempts, even on 2 and 3 star missions.
