I have a idea for talent trees if you consider reworking them at any point.
Right now i really like them for the most part cause i come from games like World of Warcraft and other MMOs that have those in the game.
What i would like to see more or less is to give the player just a little bit more freedom on how they want to play with the classes that we have right now and so my idea would be something like this.
The main thing for me would be that the Blitz,Auras and Abilities
are choosen by the player at 5 lvl unlock stages so that we can have more freedom for the nodes in the tree without feeling we have to pick something cause we really want that blitz or aura for our builds. This would need a lot more thinking and rework of course but in general it would be like removing 9 points taking these things to the side let players choose what they want to use in their builds and gives more freedom to play around with the tree itself.
i was thinking the same but for the blitz equipment only
where you can take whatever blitz you like, and after taking one, you can start anywhere afterwards giving freedom and still following the classic talent node tree, just excluding the blitzs from it essentially
Was basically how VT2 handled it and DT on launch. Talent trees come with a variety of physical limitations and cost to crossing but more variety in builds… harder to balance not sure this is desired from last post.
It would make it easier to balance but less fun choices
