The talent 15 descriptions are incredibly autistic atm. Seems like very few people know how they actually work. Does smiter apply to ranged damage as well? My guess is that all the level 15 talents only apply to melee damage except “Enhanced Power”.
In the aspect of hand-holding there is alomst nothing the game helps you with, the ‘tutorial’ mission, the prolog, is in need of a total rework regarding the stagger mechanic.
As to your question: Yes, only enhanced power works on ranged. Also ranged has an automatic 1.2 multiplier for damage.
