Only on Zealot and only for Tactical Axe whenever I swing my Axe the +12% critical chance bonus that comes from having 80 critical bonus weapon modifier disappears momentarily for the duration of the swing and reappears when the swing is over.

At first I thought it is probably an issue with the mod i’m using to see my crit chance, but I am now watching some of my recorded footage and I start to feel that occasionally my tactical axe swings hit the target, make the sound for hitting successfully but there is no damage registered on the target. The target HP doesn’t move at all.
It doesn’t happen on a specific enemy but I mostly notice it on Bosses or Elites and sometimes on Mutants (basically things that don’t die in 1 hit)
I only play Havoc-40 so I dont know if you will experience this outside of Havoc. Also my enemies are not buffed by stimms or rotten armor when the issue appears.

One example I remember of this happening is when I was hitting a boss in havoc through a wall. You can literally do this with every weapon and the damage registers normally but on one occasion when I did it with a tactical axe IV my hits would connect, I would hear the hitting sound but there would be no damage done.

    There might be an issue with tactical axe crit bonus modifier
    There might also be an issue with tactical axe hitbox or hit registration
    I only noticed it while playing Zealot

Steps to Reproduce (Required):

  1. Play Zealot
  2. Equip Tactical Axe (I use mk IV)
  3. Hit Havoc-40 bosses, elites and specials with lights and heavy attacks
  4. Notice that some of the hits connect but dont register (no damage done)
  5. Also notice that while swinging your axe the crit bonus chance from the weapon modifier disappears for the duration of the swing
