This is quite rare, and can be fixed with a game restart, but tabbing in and out can sometimes make it sound like you’re ‘under water’.
It also makes half of the sounds not work, while others just sound weird.
Could be tied to other ‘silent enemy’ sound bugs.
Also the game wont shut up when minimized, and the fun little detail is that you cannot shut it up using the windows sound mixer. On win10 it completely bugs out and becomes unresponsive whenever VT2 is in the background.
