Survey in the launcher

Well my guess would be that they aren’t really interested in your feedback. What else is there that explains the conduct? My version still stands: beta was a server load test.

As of this morning (can’t comment about before) that button is not there on my Launcher via Gamepass, so its not that simple. 13/01/2023

The forum is just a handful of poeple compared to the whole playerbase, not to mention that a lot just moan about everything and making assumptions, while a more satisfied playerbase is still playing.

Also a bunch of players have different issues. Some do enjoy the systems and different classes but sit on performance issues. Others have no issues, but they dislike the RNG or miss variety in the mission-design.

The survey is a good step, should be probably highlighted more.

what I like, is how discreet the button is…
If I hadn’t read about it here, I would have absolutely missed it.

It misses the mark on some very fundamental frustrations like lack of content, and timegates, inability to pick any mission and other related shenanigans

Content will come in one or another way, but overall they asked for personal issues within the content to either make changes or to make it better in the future like more variety in the mission-events.

Also if you chose neutral or unsatisfied in some aspects an extra tab got shown and one of them has been missions. You could write stuff in “others” aswell, but dunno how many letters.

Well it’s unclear then what leads to those extra things being unlocked…
In true fatshark fashion :joy:

I don’t know if there was an announcement somewhere on the forum. Maybe I missed it or they forgot who knows.

Reading this comment made me realise how little attention I pay to anything on any launcher for any game. All I ever do on them is click the “launch” button. Everything else on there might as well be blacked out.

Just an observation.

Having a survey consider an answer of ‘neutral’ to indicate dissatisfaction is a feature of many survey methodologies. The idea is that if you’re not satisfied, you’re dissatisfied, and having no strong feelings about a thing puts you outside of the ‘satisfied’ camp.

The extra questions only appear if your answer indicates dissatisfaction because if you were satisfied, you wouldn’t need to provide information about why you weren’t satisfied.

Could also mean, that they already decided that they will change it? Just some hopium on my side

That’s also my thought.
Sometimes surveys and polls have the objective to create the illusion in the people who are asked to answer them that they are listened, considered and their opinion is important, so at least you can control the dissent and the criticism.

Rather take my chances in voicing my concerns and not getting my hopes up than not voicing at all. Took me 3 min to fill it out

I did the same anyway. I’m just telling a sad possibility.

Game took the grimdark a bit too far

Yeh I noticed that too and thought it was a bit weird. imo you should have the chance to explain how you think they could do better regardless of feeling satisfied unsatisfied or neutral. To be honest I think everyone would have some advice for them about what they got wrong. I’ll bet nobody who’s played the game is 100% happy with it as it is right now.

This is a pretty fair take.

That’s not weird at all, it shows they have been listening. Just because a few people complain on reddit, steam, here doesn’t mean every complaint has equal weight, so they ask and learn.

Honestly my buddies and I haven’t launched the game in over two weeks. We had some fun bu. Ultimately got burnt out by the inability to find weapons we wanted and to craft weapons we thought were useful.

The crafting system is going to come too late. Most people simply will not come back to play.

This is correct. in a 1-5 tiering system “5 very good” is a promoter, “4 good” is a passive and “3 neutral”, “2 bad”, “1 very bad” are all considered detractors. Most commonly companies use NPS (Net Promotor Score) and cSat (Customer Satisfaction) which use this scoring system for their KPIs (Key Performance Indicators). Every company I’ve worked for over the last 24 years has used these KPIs.
