I think that they should give us a 6th difficulty, based on elite resistance. We have auric that is essentially high intensity, with or without shock troop gauntlet.

And, after playing it several times, elite resistance is really a game changer.
I invite everyone here to test it. It may not be perfect, but I would really welcome it instead of the spawn fiesta we have actually.
Edit: to add to what I say… I would prefer that they did not create 125 game modes. I would have preferred that we have the possibility to choose freely what mission we want, about their difficulty, condition etc.
And I see what is the problem. Such system would be difficult to apprehend for a new player.
Does FS need extra help to make something with as many maps and assets as CW? Definitely. Toadman Interactive put in thousands of hours creating assets, and the maps CW launched with were fantastic. But I highly doubt Toadman brought anything truly unique. There are dozens of talented teams capable of creating the kinds of maps CW had, and FS could absolutely work with others to get that done for DT.
Toadman shutting down shouldn’t be a concern when it comes to bringing CW content into DT. If you want CW in DT, keep asking for it. The building blocks are basically there, it just needs a ton of maps and assets, and those don’t need to come from one studio that shut down years ago. FS and Toadman haven’t even worked together for something like four years.
This sounds more like someone trying to stir up drama. If you check their post history (at least the stuff that hasn’t been moderated), they’re just mad about everything.
Me too. They’re solid, they work, I don’t care if it’s reusing assets.
I really want a CW for DT too, even if it has to roll out in smaller chunks. What we got so far is basically a tech demo. The hard parts of CW are already there. The time consuming stuff that’s missing.
Going past 80%: Weapons are still stuck at the 80% stat wall, and players with many hours have a bunch crafting materials lying around, why not use those materials to go past 80%?
There’s too much power creep as it is, and the sound engine can’t handle the spawn rates in endgame. Last thing we need is more.
I agree that the 80% is annoying and misleading tho. In the start there were theories about red weapons etc. so it was a preliminary system, where 100% was still going to be attainable at some point. But we’re 2.5 years into release, we’re way past that.
I WOULD say they should just make 80% → 100% just for appearance’s sake (same stats, just different percentage value), but the scaling actually goes all the way up to 100%. So they’d have to adjust basically every single variable about every weapon to get there - massive risk for bugs & problems - which is probably why we are where we are.

Solo mode: why not just add it? the players who want play solo can do so using mods already, and I truly believe it will take no effort from fatshark to simply add it.

The bots have a million issues, exacerbated the more of them there are. Right now we barely even see them or care about them since they’re only temporary and usually exist 1, at most 2 at a time. They can’t just add solo and then go “it works if it works, you should play on T1-3 only and if you get problems don’t come to us about it”.
Dueling Sword: Most broken weapon, makes all the other options feel weak, I even tested it with no talents, blessings, or perks, and it is still better than most weapons if not all.

Cosmetics recolor: we should have the option to apply any pattern and colors to any piece of gear we own.
Agreed in principle but again, how?
People have been paying real money for mere recolors for over 2 years now. They can’t just devalue that & give superior options for everyone for free without massive backlash, even potential legal ramifications.
Technically it’s my understanding (could be wrong) that the engine, at least the way DT does it, doesn’t support recolouring. Every single skin even if it’s the same thing with a slightly different shade needs to be stored as a fully separate thing. So if you add 10 recolors per each skin, that’s 10x more disk space & memory & network traffic for those skins.

For the record, I don’t have any rose-tinted glasses on V2, because I only recently started playing it with @Khorne_Dawg (for the first time). Aside from melee combat, V2 is far superior to Darktide.
It has many things going for it that Darktide lacks, that’s for sure. I begrudge the folks who complained about Darktide being too similar to VT2 “but with guns” before launch. If anything, it should have borrowed more from its predecessor.
