When we create a character, one can choose the color of the starter outfit (red, yellow, blue, green).
It would be nice if in addition to the red cosmetics we get from character progression later on, we would also unlock yellow, blue and green versions of them.
There’s really not a lot of diversity in the current free skins one can unlock. Giving us different recolors would be a big step towards some more character customization.
you could make power rangers
Could even put them in the normal money shop. Like having each convict colour unlock as base their own colour but letting us buy with the normal gold the rest of the sets
Same for the Premium Cosmetics. Some are very clearly designed to go with each other, but don’t fit.
There is a purple cowl with goggles for Zealots that has the exact same pattering of the red patterned clothes of Zealot that are unlocked from achievements. But it’s violet…
The latest premium cosmetic has Black-Golden patterned pants. These pants are also for the Zealot, but they look like they would fit the Blue-Golden Premium armor of the Psyker, if they were Blue-Golden int he same color tone.
Tiny weird kinks like that make a lot of outfits not really mesh when you want to combine things for diversity’s sake.
There are cosmetics in the game that are clear composites of multiple other items sold separately. In lieu of a system that allows for more granular modification I’ve been of the opinion that we should be buying the models, with camo/paterns being sold at Melk’s while colors could be sold at Brunt’s. No one uses the mystery acquisitions at Melk’s, it costs too much for too much uncertainty in what you’re getting. Have him sell us camos/patterns instead.
