Now that the braced autoguns are available on Psyker, the autopistol has lots a major part of its niche as the spray-&-pray autogun option. The autopistol doesn’t measure up well agains the braced autoguns and infantry autoguns as a damage dealing option, and seems to exist mainly as a stagger and suppression tool which, while unique, isn’t really useful enough to warrant taking it over alternatives that can also stagger and suppress.
I think giving it the Run & Gun blessing would go a long way towards making it stand out against its alternatives. Not only would this play into its theme as a mobile autogun option, it would also allow players to better capitalise on its current role as a suppression and stagger tool by being able to close the distance with enemies as you apply these effects.
