Suggestion: "Pay Dockets For Specific Missions" and "Crusades"

Just as an idea that can be worked at by the devs taking Payday 2 as a base.

Since Missions are randomized and exchange out, this reminds me a lot of Payday 2. As such, I know myself and friends get frustrated when we want to play a mission (Or even mission type when we were hunting for achievements), so a thought was brought up. Why not go the route with Payday 2? It does a similar thing where missions are on a city map and randomly have difficulty and mission, but you always have the option to pay cash for a particular mission/difficulty. My thought, why not, for those who want to, let players pay Ordo Dockets (The base currency of the game) to select missions/difficulty they want? Just an idea.

In addition to the Pay for Mission idea from Payday 2, I think a good and fun thing to take from the is their “Crime Sprees”. You get increasing rewards chances by completing a series of missions back to back that get increasingly difficult and have various modifiers you add to the game as you go. Keeping with the theme, instead of “Crime Sprees” I’d call these “Crusades” for Darktide. Basically, you get the option of 2-4 missions you want, and every 3-5 completed missions you choose to add in one modifier of 2-4 choices. This would give something for people at the effective ‘end game’ to do. With this, though, a new system would need to be implemented to ‘suspend’ the Crusade, much like Payday 2 for those who can’t do a long stream of 3+ missions, but would allow someone to get more Emperor’s Gift Rolls, Additional Docket, Plasteel, Diamantime and whatever else is added to the game later.

I know, even if these suggestions are taken seriously, the implementation will take months, if not over a year, but I think it will help greatly for enjoying the game, especially those that like to push themselves.

Thank you.

I got into Payday 2 much later in its life cycle than most people, and I was shocked to learn that at launch it had a similar random mission selection, and it had received a similarly poor reception. Also I love the idea of Crime Sprees in DT, think it would be a ton of fun and I personally would prefer something like that over Chaos Wastes.
