Quitting out of a match (unless it is competitive) should not be punished.
The person does not want to be there for some reason. Let them leave. Someone else replaces them within a minute and everything is fine.
Win-win.
The person who did not want to stay, could leave. The remaining party now has someone on the team, who actually wants to be there.
If there was any kind of punishment for quitting out of a mission, toxicity would go through the roof.
You have to leave for unexpected visitors?
Can‘t leave the party. Just go afk. I am sure the party will appreciate an AFK teammate and be happy that they did not simply get a new one.

Can‘t leave. You have to waste your time and get annoyed. I am sure, a regular person will be very happy to go through that. No way a regular person might snap at anyone and maybe engage in some toxic behavior in return.
Any 2 people could massively harrass any other 2 players.
They can‘t votekick you. They can‘t leave.
People could be held hostage at any airlock.
Unless you also want to penalize people for getting votekicked as well (which would be madness), trying to force a votekick would be the logical step for players who can not just leave the group without penalty.
No need to explain in detail, how that would turn out.
Especially when considering how many people seemingly NEVER vote to kick anyone. Lots of „fun“ for the entire party is guaranteed.

your limited view is your own fault, not mine.
i have used several iterations of the scoreboard mod and refuse to use it further, because it changes my aproach to the game.

I completely agree with you.
I’m sorry, I was being facetious in my post. I actually don’t want a scoreboard at all.
I like the colorful stims, but not everyone can see color well. I think it would help if the actual stim model had the corresponding symbol on the texture mesh rather than them all having the universal IRL symbol that means “health/medicine.” V2 solves this with color AND shape so they’re super distinct.
