Until yesterday, Vermintide 2 was working fine on Linux, but suddenly it just stopped. Every time I try to start, skip the cutscene, the game crashes during the loading screen, I just wanted to play Vermintide normally, why do you guys always break games on Linux?

Just downloaded the game after a long time, exact same problem. Tried the temporary_launcher beta, modded realm and normal realm. Still crashing.

Unfortunately, Vermintide 2 is not officially supported on Linux.

No updates were made at this time though to either Vermintide 2 or Easy Anti-Cheat, so I suspect this is a local issue.

I had the same issue, and it seems like going out of steam beta fixed it.

I can sympathize, I would like to be able to play this on my Steam Deck. With that said, VT2 has never supported the Linux platform, so of course they aren’t going to consider that when making changes :person_shrugging:t2:
