I currently have the old version of the game, Build ID 9968289, and no matter what I do steam won’t give me the newer version, Build ID 9984518, which my friend is now on. I have tried restarting Steam multiple times and even reinstalled the game and still cannot get the patch to come through.
Try changing your download region in steam
That’s strange! If changing your download region doesn’t see any change. Then I recommend reaching out to Steam support, as they handle content delivery: https://help.steampowered.com/en/
For me I did “repair game files” and then it found the update and started downloading it.
