Mutants find you like if you had not stealth. Even if you are not in their line, they will follow you like if you had not stealth running.
This happens with zealot and veteran.
Hm…I spend most of my games these days playing stealth vet, and I haven’t experienced this. Although I have been grabbed by mutants while stealthed many many times, I feel pretty confident it’s because they’ll snatch whatever they happen to collide with.
If they’re targeting you and you stealth, they will attempt to slow-and-stop and retarget. But they have to stop before they can retarget, so you can’t stealth to avoid a mutant who is targeting you when they’re 2 feet away.
And if you’re stealthed, but they’re targeting someone else, they’ll happily snatch you up if you get in the path. I think this makes sense, and I’ve even leveraged this on purpose in some instances. I wouldn’t want that to change (ie. the mutant would be recoded to only be able to grab who they are targeting).
But I often stealth to avoid far-off mutants who are targeting me, and it’s never failed. Could this be a latency issue?
But two games I have seen the mutants changing its path while i activated stealth and moved on the side
He clearly followed me.
And it was not the first time I have seen that.
But will retest…
About being grabbed when on its path… I agree that it is normal.
