I have zero patience for people spreading objectively false information, particularly when they’re trying to say it as a way to dispute some very blatantly broken moments in the game. It’s not hostility, it’s just not trying to sugar coat it.
Well, when it comes to ‘kaizo’ and other things this happens in every game where players think something isn’t working consistently, but it actually is. The spawn points in some of the levels are clearly bugged, no need to be hostile.
Stay Focused here people! The point is, where the hell are the other Special Conditions? Did FS decide to do away with them? There should be 5, not 3 permanent. High Intensity, Low Intensity, Vent Purge, Power Out, and Hounds. And these haven’t “rotated” in almost a month. They said they were testing the Hounds, then went on a month long vacation and just forgot about a game mechanic that SHOULD add to the fun but has gotten stale because no one bothered to flip a switch and start rotation again. It’s sloppy and lazy and maddening! Don’t get lost in dodge mechanics, or whether the game has lag issues making the Trapper a pain. Those are Legit, but this is about FS’s laziness and failure to do something so simple that it would not have been an effort for just one person to flip that switch.
And I’m gonna get real jerk-ish here now. Christmas is an American Holiday. I love that the entire world has embraced this holiday and sharing the love. But even in America we don’t get a full month to just stop working. So “it’s the holidays, they deserve time with their families” means nothing to me since I got ONE extra day off for Christmas Weekend, and ONE extra day off for New Years. I busted my ass and got my work done. So can they.
This game isn’t a kaizo game (Considering that’s a platforming genre). It’s based on L4D and copies almost all of its mechanics and the -Tide games have done so since VT1. I have no idea what point you’re trying to get to but it’s nearly incoherent and none of what you said meshes even with itself.
Well to one their own, but as the OP author has requested, please stay on topic.
lol
You can get that in game, right now, on high intensity, just go a little further after the 1st one spawns and you can get two. They’re still just harmless bullet sponges though.
Hey Mike_Rotch, what part of what I mentioned are you referencing? I’m pretty sure that Ghutts just realized that me saying specials are harder to avoid if you don’t have coherency and Zoralink saying the game spawns specials after you if your separated from the group was just basically the same thing.
This part. They do not get any stat changes whether people are in or out of coherency.
Hey Zaygr, the trappers are for sure firing their nets with different firing speeds. I am not sure if this is intended or not, as I stated that this was most likely. My first sentence is just more like a term of endearment: when their is a group of men and women and people still say: whats up guys.
They seem like they’re firing at different speeds because the trapper audio is buggy, they sometimes play the netgun firing sound instead of a voiceline, or the sound plays twice, or it plays but the trapper doesn’t shoot, and then shoots a half second after. There’s something dodgy about the trapper’s sound playback.
Thats interesting, do you have a link where I can see this happening? Hmmm, I actually just realized something. The attack speed boosts that some of the weapons get technically don’t increase the attack speed, they increase the speed of the animation. So if the audio and or animation of the charge time of the trapper was getting modified, that could essentially do the same thing, make it so when their net was fired could change.
Here’s one. You can hear the fire sound once when she readies the netgun, then hear it again when it fires.
I didn’t really notice anything odd about that. Has this video been submitted as a bug to see what the devs had to say? Theirs a noise that gets made during wind up time and a noise when the net fires, this seems fairly normal.
The issue is that the sounds are the same. In the beta it had a distinctly different wind up charging sound, then a firing sound. Here it’s the firing sound playing twice.
this is the right attempt - i had 4 at the same time in the boss room on a Damnation Assasination.
I think 8 snipers and each operator getting attacked by 2 simulataneously during massive mixed Hordes with Ragers and Maulers, while 2-3 Muties, some Dreg Gunners, Flamers, Bombers and maybe 2 Poxbursters come for you while the Boss is also shooting at you with a Plasma Gun is all fine. /s
I had the same (similar special spawn) against that version of the boss on T5. It was the best version of that boss fight I ever had thus far.
have done it, Nurgle Beast 2 spawned when Nurgle Beast 1 was at 50% and everyone was like wtf XD

I meant the double boss, forgot to quote, sorry.
