Fatshark stated that the Veteran would receive more improvements in 2025. In reality, the only buffs were minor tweaks to the talent tree—moving some underpowered or unreasonable talents up or down—while indirectly nerfing the Ultimate’s cooldown. The class did not receive reasonable power increases; instead, it was weakened further. I personally find this very hard to understand.
