Some skill bonuses have no effect on grenades, bleeding dots, and burning dots

for me, “ranged damage” doesn’t sound like it should change anything towards grenades

Longshot does increase both the direct impact and explosion damage of frag and krak grenades but this is because the talent buffs damage_far which doesn’t care much for type of attack, it simply increases any damage based on distance.

The other talents buff ranged_damage which does not affect grenades, neither their direct impact damage nor their explosion damage which is consistent with the damage types. Fatshark uses frag_damage or krak_damage (e.g. Grenade Tinkerer) to specifically buff respective grenades’ damage.

Grenade damage is affected by weapon perks and blessings of the currently equipped weapon, though. (Dots as well)

It’s more than questionable why any of those mentioned talents should buff dots.
