Scum is now taking shape into what they’re supposed to be
The tree however allows a few remaining issues that could easily be solved, which are:
- Swap Gunslinger and Ruffian Auras
Gunslinger is supposed to be the “generalist” aura, with slight team support and so, it should be placed in the middle
- Long Lasting / Blessed Stimms change and addition
Reduce Duration of Long Lasting to 3s. Long Lasting should also reduce the cooldown of the stimm by 3s, since people AVOID this perk just to not suffer through that. And the worst part is, current Desperado is FORCED to take it, which makes things worse for everyone
Reduce the amount of Corruption cleansed from Blessed Stimms to 25%
Now, combine Long Lasting with Blessed Stimms, so they both are 1 perk. This perk will be placed on the left side, as indicated by the picture
Lastly and most importantly, make this perk affect Stimm Supply (as in, affected teammates will have the duration of the stimm extended, and will clear up to 25% corruption on kills
- Move Pickpocket
Simple, move it here. I can already see people saying “but that will make Long Lasting a tax node!”, dw, the next 2 changes will make it make sense
- Swap the Combat Abilities around
Re-adapting the Combat Abilities to match the talent changes above, as well as the Aura change
- Create another either/or option on the tree
So essentially, the user will only be able to pick one of the two nodes:
- Pickpocket
- Long Lasting + Blessed Stimms hybrid node
What does this achieve?
- It prevents Rampage from getting Pickpocket
- It allows Stimm Crate to choose either better support (By giving teammates stimms for longer and better corruption clearing) or more toxins (pickpocket for needle pistol)
- Desperado is no longer forced to pick Long Lasting
- Swap the bottom tree in the exact same way the Combat Abilities were moved around
Just for consistency of course, due to the combat abilities being moved
Overall, these changes should allow Hivescum to be less problematic when combining extremely good talents (Pickpocket) with extremely good combat abilities (Rampage), as well as placing other limits to allow Fatshark to tune the talents without having to worry about “but what if this combination…” again
