anyone been giving SM2 a whirl ? up to playing co op operations yet?
i would like to once again as i have all along defend and applaud FS choice of how to do mission select in DT its so nice not just playing the one easiest map back to back!
finished the campaign and am now leveling a tactical and heavy in coop missions.
ironically i prefer the map selection out of the total pool, if i´m the “host” that is.
usually i play map 1-6 up and down and don´t stick to one for farming sake.
ported over to darktide it´d be the opposite to
given the ability i´d have I II V E G, C I VI and J I II V run up and down for challenge´s sake.
one thing that pisses me off ( but getting fixed in the near future ) :
even having a “invite key” it doesn´t stay a private lobby.
so in order to get my buddy to join he has to put in the key, but once he´s in, any yahoo get the third spot even if we wanna run a duo wit bot.
and boy, bots do a better job 90% of the time when you wanna search the map for gene seeds and armory points.
every damn time a player replaces it, of he runs into the distance, at least you can kick ´em.
speaking of kicking, once you opted out of a few lobbies, the game lets you pass the loading screen single and the first 2 difficulties are a walk in the park with bots for relaxed farming.

I’m glad to have the option to play the map I want without having to wait an hour for the rotation just to play the map I feel like doing when I launch the game. For those who don’t want to keep replaying the same mission, they invented the “quick play” option.
There is no way u prefer DT select mission screen.

And if I don’t want to play Inferno I choose a different map.
Imagine trying to stockholm yourself into liking a bad design to try to put down a different game.

The only problematic aspect is that SM2:s quickplay gives you exactly the same rewards as just picking the map yourself.
Otherwise yeah i actually do like to play the blody map i want instead of checking some external website if the map / mods i like to play are even available.
