From like all Maps in the Game as one can do in Vermintide instead of just a few random ones rotating? That would be much better and more fun; they could still have some random Modifiers on them or maybe even let us select that.
Sometimes I just choose the map I “less want to don’t play it”.
Yes, I would like to choose the map.
Because that would be fun and respect the players time and Darktide is designed to be as disrespectful to the players time as possible
well apparently the player base “is too small” to divide even further by free choice
then again, no one would pick dog or mutant modifier and its creator would feel bad
Also being able to blacklist certain maps or modifiers from quickplay would be nice.
Vermintide even before DT Arbites DLC wasn’t even at like 1/4 of DT Playercount so how does it work there but not in DT?
i never claimed it was “logical”, it was until now the narrative that was passed around.
not saying i agree with that sentiment either, if i had it my way i´d make havoc 40 pick-able from scratch without demotions and full choice of auric maelstrom modifiers, even being able to mix and match them further.
if that means 5 minutes more waiting time, so be it.
No, instead my free choice not to play the campaign missions that equate to baby mode even at Auric has been removed from me via the quick play button.
well i couldn’t say, since i never quick play for recording purposes.
It’s confirmed to happen via Julia’s response to new Auric sucking
I signed up to say that their new Mission Board made the issue worse. You now get quickplayed into easy story missions when you play Aurics, and the changes to how difficulty works are pointless: apparently the New Damnation is just Old Heresy - they just moved everything down by 1 to make space for Auric as a difficulty, that’s why Sedition is gone now.
The Many More Try mod used to be viable for circumventing bad mission board RNG, it was possible to just pick an older mission of the type you wanted via that. The pool for this mod is smaller now due to the new system. Grinding up to Aurics also was horrible, it takes way more games than hitting level 30 did before.
For me it was unfortunately an objective downgrade in every way and I’m not a fan of the visuals either, but that’s fully subjective.
If you have any anecdotes or data to add to the cause, please do: New Auric isn't good
The technical reason is probably to do with server instances, but I think they also shot themselves in the foot repeatedly with the campaign missions being separate. Anyway, having twenty or so maps mean little when you can’t even access 60% of them at a time.
