You are doing the equivalent of watching a really crappy movie adaptation of a book you liked, and defending it by saying that people just don’t get it and basically re-writing the movie in your head for director/script writer that bungled it.
All we have to go on is his stated facts that he’s quitting over dodging off a cliff (lol).
Either way I think he’s trolling. His last post was more “subtle” (scoreboard toxicity), and I fell for it hook line and sinker.
This one he’s just testing to see how far he can go and see if people still fall for it.

Honestly, I’m kind of a fan of this guys work. He drops one silly post, and gets a crap load of response posts to which he never responds himself, and people get pretty riled up. Top tier sh*t stirrer if I’ve ever seen one.

That’s the entire point. Dodging off of a ledge is one of the few cut and dry things that is clearly his fault, but several people still feel the need to say it. That’s why the post is funny in the first place.
As far as why not respond back, why bother? To read git gud? I’ve started muting threads I post in too.
Don’t take my dodging off ledges away. Surely there’s a few of you out there that take great enjoyment from sliding backwards off ledges in area transitions (like the Comms-plex finale, or after the first elevator in Refinery Delta). Just dodge-slide off the edge, and try to break your Personal Best from the last time you tried!
If that’s taken away, it’s only a matter of time before they come for our 360 spin slides…
