i was just playing 2 different maps and while using smite some of the ragers affected by smite was still able to charge at me and disabled my character…Also the same thing happened with a crusher …i targeted the crusher with smite …while being hit by smite was still able perform its heavy attack…

A couple of things come to mind.
1: Were any of them affected by “Blessing of Nurgle”? Is in, they shimmer green. Meaning they are tougher and more resilient towards staggering.
2: Smite isn’t an insta crowd control. Different enemies have different amount of stagger resistance and takes different amount to stagger. A classic example would be Psyker with Purgatus (flamer) staff. The secondary fire has less stagger than primary fire, and when Ragers charge at you, you can usually just stagger them with secondary. Unless they get close enough and start their attack cycle. Then they are very resilient towards the secondary fire staggering.
Could that be something that happened to you?
3: I don’t believe Smite can stagger unlimited amount of enemies. So it could, potentially, be that those few “slip through the net” so to speak.
ahhh ok to be fair , i think they had the blessing of nurgle and thank you for the education on stagger. honestly I had no Idea how’d it work with ragers… even with the Purgatus staff… So thank you
