I’ve played today against a player named “Maksoni” on Steam using a handgun in Versus as a Slayer. Everything seemed normal aside from the handgun wielding Slayer. Made no comment or remark when call out on it.
The Steam ID in the post is his own, because if there is a bug, an exploit or a cheat or anything I’m not sure my own Steam ID would be of any use.
can confirm, just played into the man myself. was about to make a post about this as well, just wanted to try if it’s some modded realm shennanigans with loadouts. Will update when I try.
Hello everyone! I used a bug in the game. I didn’t do anything intentionally for it; I found out about the bug by accident. I still don’t understand what it’s related to or if it can be triggered or fixed on my own. I’ll attach screenshots showing how it looks on my end. What I’ve managed to figure out is that equipment purchased in the shop, intended for the “hero poses” section, can be equipped.
I was looking for a section where I could apply skins to equipment and came across this section with the bug. Since it wasn’t labeled, I didn’t think much of it and used it. The bug is also present for other characters, but when selecting certain types of equipment, the game crashes.
I can assume that this is related to some regional restrictions imposed by the developer. I’m happy to answer any questions you may have. Thank you
Yeah, we played together, and my teammate had the same bug (it affects several characters). And, as another player told me yesterday, he ran into someone else with the same bug. Actually, until last night, I didn’t even know this bug was unique. Since the cell isn’t labeled in any way, I thought everyone could do it. Then last night, I had a call with one of the players on Discord, and I shared my screen. He said that this cell is supposed to have ‘hero poses’ in it.
So, the equipment that ends up in the equipment selection slots is the one that has ‘hero poses’ for it.
@Maksoni, we’ve checked your actual account and confirmed that you did indeed have a Slayer loadout with a pistol equipped. Though we haven’t been able to reproduce this in our tests so far.
Is there any further information you could provide on how this was done? e.g. Modded realm? any mods? etc.
Hello! I don’t use any mods and I play on the official realm. I bought the game in 2019 and reinstalled it in December 2024.
I’m attaching some screenshots that might help. When I try to select a staff for my elf character, the game crashes with the message shown in the screenshot. I’m also attaching a video. Thank you.
