Should Brutal Momentum be Nerfed or Changed, and if so how?

Sorry, I just got confused due to what part of my post you quoted.

Nerf this, nerf that.

Please, no. The Axes are High-skill weapons. People say the game is too easy with them, but many of those saying it aren’t even using it themselves. You have to time your attacks and your pushes and your blocks right when dealing with Hordes while carrying an Axe. So in my opinion it’s a good reward that doing that well leads to decent performance.

Just because something is popular doesn’t mean it’s broken.

It’s BM that some people are complaining about, not the axes themselves. You must admit that BM significantly lowers the skill floor on them. Blocking and pushing during a horde are entirely optional once you proc it.

Not my experience at all, you’ll still get stray hits in if you’re not careful.

Yeah… if you don’t dodge / push… you finish on floor

But I repeat that nerfing CA, means nerfing also PS.
Next nerf would be Cleaver of Ogryn
After Heavy sword
After …
One day we could even nerf the catachan sword…

Again I would say that BM should be changed, and not nerfed. But if the change means less efficiently for BM, PS need also to get a nerf.

How about we just stop?
Currently most things are in a good place. Just buff some of the weaker options a tiny little maybe. But we need more content first. And nerfs are the last thing this game needs.

Also unnerf the Muties and the Poxhounds.

Ok, so not entirely optional, but you really can just spam away for most of a horde. It certainly isn’t high skill once BM is procced.

I think the laspistol is probably too strong. I used it to kill a mauler once. Please nerf.

Jokes aside Laspistol is only held back by having terrible Maniacs damage, that thing is pretty busted otherwise.

You spam left click on all but 2 enemy types. It is by far the simplest weapon in the game to be successful with. It is literally my go to on Zealot when I want a brainless run.

That is the easiest tweak in history:

  1. No more Perks or Blessing below T3 when consecrating 360+ weapon.

  2. Downgrade back to grey option.

After some long observation and curios players collecting data. There are another obvious tweak that must be done.
3) Remove bloated chance of Experience/Ordo Dockets/Chance for X - Perks appearing on curios. Or remove those 3 kinds of perks whatsoever!

Again - result of prolonged observation:
4) Shove that Devil’s Claw sword somewhere Significantly Buff Devil’s Claw swords or remove OVERBLOATED chance for them to appear in Melk’s shop.

It’s pretty good if you can consistently land headshots, but otherwise it’s firmly in the middleground. It’s pretty fun to use though. Sliding around 1tapping everything at close range is solid gameplay. It’s weapons like this that make me use a BM axe that can just kind of do everything.

The fun part is that you don’t have to do any of that. You just walk in, pop ult and start shooting, headshots are just extra. That thing has more crit rate than a knife and crit deals more damage than a weak spot hit. The only trick is to put Reasurringly Accurate t4 on it, 10% toughness back on crit kill. +Crit rate is probably bis perks, +Crit damage could also be (although I haven’t checked the breakpoints for it).

Apart from being awfully bad against Mutants/Trapers/Flamers that thing is an absolute beast on Vet.

Which is exactly what I’m saying. There is a lot of decent options in the game right now. Doesn’t mean they are busted or need nerfing.

That involves wasting my time using the crafting system. Pass. If it can’t be done with a t1/2 you strip off an emp’s gift, it’s not worth the time it takes to farm it up.

What? Are you playing malice or something?

t4 talents are fairly uncommon on anything other than melk’s, and I don’t care enough to check melks’.

If it doesn’t drop on an emp’s gift, I don’t see it.

I’m just asking because you were talking about t1/t2. Damnation runs almost always give at least 1 t3 blessing.

Nah, I was following on from:

Like, with BM you can use the t1 ot t2 version since once it procs you’re taking a new head every swing. T4 blessings might as well not exist for me because the chances of me ever seeing any particular one are basically zero.

Give it a try if you have t3 randomly. Probably wouldn’t make much of a difference. It’s really fun.
