Just play the game and have this dogshit thing pop-up and have two tries taken off because you have to cancel an on-going deployment, how are the servers getting worse this has been an issue for years now and is making havoc unplayable.
not only havoc, auric maelstrom as well,had error 2014 with players freezing in place, enemies walking off into the sky and a worse latency so far.

oh and excise vault got worse fps than ever which is mind boggling given a less crowded area at times than other maps that run well with the screen filled to the brim
I’ve seen forum posts suggesting its server issues, but why was I getting it two weeks ago when there were 3k concurrent players… This has been happening to me since I started playing havoc months ago. It got worse after Arbites, and from what I’ve seen online its way worse now. Its ruined so many havoc tries for me, and I don’t care much for wasting my time or attempts
i got it in the first auric i played after this patch, which I had never been able to do before

We started a game with a strike team, and in the loadout selection ready-up screen we all crashed to operative selection menu with the same message as in the screenshot above and the server gave an error code of “2006”.
When we all logged back in to our operative - the game said we couldnt start a new havoc until our last one ended. Except it never even started - none of us could even CANCEL ANY ASSIGNMENT WE COULD ONLY PRESS DEMOTE. All of us had to restart the game for this to go away.

Can you at least not remove a deployment when this happens? Clearly the game knows it happened since we get a message about it. The least that could happen is not punish us for it.
Actually unplayable. Out of 5 havoc games yesterday: 1 was good, 1 lost early - so cannot judge, 2 everyone crashed near the end, 1 mission was aborted near the end.
That’s wild… The same thing happened to me. When there was a nasty crash, it also literally restarted my PC, I was in shock & it wasn’t the blue screen of death either. This is the only game that does this too. It’s rare, but sometimes it has me worried that a game can potentially fk up my PC like this.
It’s very tiring… I feel strongly that Fatshark really needs to fix server issues. This should be their top priority over everything else.
windows event log said something about a kernel issue, so how the fk does this game manage to mess up on such a level?
and yes, been playing fallout(s)/skyrim with hundreds of wild mods and duct tape and none crashed this way, as well as “legit” current titles.
seems to have been at least somewhat attributed to the new enemy in a certain number, chasm logistratum final train track area was the reset crash, whereas excise vault went down to 3-4 fps with rubber banding controls despite almost only them on screen.
next map hab dreyko filled to the brim with standard enemies…. fluid 144 fps
When mine crushed, it went to a black screen & said it was collecting data or something. I should’ve been paying attention, but it might have been a similar crash perhaps. It just makes literally no sense at all. I mean, there’s plenty of people complaining about all these crashes yet they’ve done nothing to resolve them in any of the patch notes. You would really think all of this should be at the top of their list. Just did a Havoc-40 today & d/c’ed like 3-4 times. Then within the same match-up, all three guys d/c’ed right near the end as well. Luckily, they came back in time before I was toast. It’s sht like this that almost makes me want to uninstall the game & move on if they’re not going to be bothered to solve such issues. People have quit this game for less, lol. I’m constantly paranoid too… checking my internet connection, ping & on top of that, my rig is high-end too, so there’s no way in hell it’s me. I believe you have a 4080 if I’m not mistaken? Last time I checked, that’s a high-end card too & should play this like it’s nothing.
looong time ago there was a legendary horrible bug with nvidia drivers and certain games crashing due to officially not getting enough voltage for a millisecond or something.
nvlddmkm.sys…. haunting me to this day sincr even forcing more voltage to the gpu and increasing the timeout deadline via regeddit there was no cure.
except the next beefy gpu with an over the top PSU to brute force it somehow.
that was in the age of nvidias 780gtx….
to this day, fingers crossed it didn’t return.
until I saw the kernel error in the windows crash history being related to some voltage thing somehow.
with a 1200w psu and a 4080…. that ran fine with darktide since 2022…. what are the chances?!?
I do remember that actually, luckily I wasn’t effected by it. Well, my personal issue is, I used to have an Intel i9-14900k CPU, which is known to have instability issues. I had no clue about why I was getting the blue screen of death. It was basically because there was too much voltage going to the CPU. Later, I found that out, so I had to do a full BIOS update to fix the micro-code, so it would stabilize. Eventually, although it fixed the issues, I still got rid of it & opted for an AMD CPU instead. But this doesn’t change the fact that Darktide has too many bugs & issues with their servers for sure & made the blue screen issue even worse with the CPU. Even now, my PC runs totally fine, it’s just with this game. I like this game & all, it’s just, man… I’m just getting fed up with it. It seems like the last few months it’s been getting worse. Before, there were very little issues until now. It’s weird a game can crash your whole PC, which is nutty to me. I’ve been playing some other game as well with 0 issues at all. If they really want to keep players, they’ve got to do something for the health of the game. I almost uninstalled the game 2 nights ago from being frustrated, lol. I feel like if it keeps up, I’m just moving on to something else, no doubt.
You made the right call here. Once a 13th/14th gen Intel CPU starts exhibiting these symptoms, the voltage issue has already physically damaged it. The BIOS update can prevent that damage from happening in the first place but once it’s already happened it will gradually become more unstable even with the update applied.
as always, I can’t make any promises, but I’ll do my best to advocate for a more player-friendly alternative.
