Server Error - Backend Error

Hello I just finished downloading the game through steam for the free weekened and with only 9 hours remaining I can’t get into the game.

I keep getting an error right after loading logos etc.

There error is Server Error - Backend Error with no specified number.
I tried searching the issue and do the following,
reinstall EAC,flushing dns,changing dns,restarting router-pc-steam,using vpn,changing launch settings,verifying game cache.
Nothing seems to work and can’t find the “nil” error online.

Any info on this,another fix I could have tried? Hopefully I’ll be able to resolve this before the free weekend ends.

I have exact same problem, have bought key few weeks ago and can’t play since.
I’ve also tried everything, ranging from reinstalling game, EAC, Visual C++ redistributables, flushing and changing dns, using vpn, changing settings, verifying game files and then some.

I don’t know if I should create separate thread for my problem, so I’ll join this one for now.

So I just find out that the problem isn’t with my pc but with the steam account.I can open the game just fine with the account I steam shared it to.

I guess I can’t do something to fix it myself so will have to wait :pensive:

Can confirm that this temporary solution works. It’s bad to have ingame progression and achievements not tied to my account though. Hopefuly wizards will find a source of this problem for us.

Edit: Small note: although I’m from Poland it’s not ISP-related (UPS was it?) issue for me. I’ve got different ISP, tried vpn and it works fine on family-shared polish account on the same computer without vpn.
