It seems the Tigrus Mk II Heavy Eviscerator was stealth nerfed a second time. It can now no longer one shot head shot Crushers (Damnation) in any way after activating Fury of the Faithful:
Previously, you could one shot head shot with the first Heavy, but after a patch this was no longer possible, however you could still do this with the second heavy. Evidence for that you can see at the end of this thread:
Lmao why would I run it anymore over the super buffed chaxes then? A FotF rev LIGHT attack from OG Chaxe one shots a crusher last I checked. What is going on in FS’s balance department they seem to have no idea what they’re doing.
You just ain’t doin’ it right. HLLL attack chain is impressive horde clear and revved attacks do good single target damage… or they would if there wasn’t this stealth nerf.
Zealot has lots of attack speed buffs to make it good to use. I consider it better than the mk15.
Speaking of Eviscerator jank, I have noticed that the mk2 has an odd attack pattern as well. When doing HL>HL attack chains, you have to wait an abnormally long time for the light attack to end before you can start a heavy attack again - hence why I mentioned HLLL. The same thing also happens after a push attack.
it must be unintended because this weapon is so annoying makes me feel like being stuck in a gooey mess… It can’t move or dodge at all, also no attack speed + getting stuck in enemies and now also no more damage xD even if they would double the dmg, it would still be my last choice.
Fatshark replaced an armor downgrade mechanic (carapace to flak, flak to unarmoured) on zealot’s dash to 100% rending but an eviscerator deals more damage to flak that’s why it killed crushers in one revved-up attack before.
Ah, I haven’t tested any other weapons other than the other Eviscerator variant (and with that I could still one shot head shot with a revved heavy attack and FotF), but that would explain it.
So Fury of the Faithful was “reworked” and the patch notes don’t reflect that to its fullest extent.
A buff for the Mk II to compensate for the change would be in order then.
