besides having a class that needs a fundamentally different approach (even though it sadly ends in an overpowered disaster later) and not follow the same methods of the others is a good thing.
charging money for something doesn’t entail “it” has to work for every hinz&kunz, it should offer something unique.
and not everyone is able to get this uniqueness to work or even find it out.
skill also comes in the form of adaptability and its one of the few things truly left to the player instead of blessing does x or talent does y.
what which and where to do something is part of the learning and skill curve so yes
and the game needs more classes like that, albeit in a balanced form, so one can finally again “respect” a good zealot, vet, ogryn whatever for what HE does and not his cookie cutter loadout.
I’m bored to tears watching the same lame ds/plasma/dome/wololo repeat shooting fish in a barrel.
it’s a rare treat watching someone go above and beyond DESPITE his loadout, not because.
though I agree, after having a full roster of lvl capped characters, the game shouldn’t subject an experienced player to crawl through the low tiers again.
he either gets his stuff together theorycrafting or fails no matter the process to a “finished talent tree”
edit: having not much more to do currently
I still ponder at the “didnt finish event cause scum” part despite having multiple other tools to get it done in a day or two with
usually such warmup runs with ogryn do the trick by themselves.
33 years ago… battle toads was a thing, did finish the game despite the snake level
so if the game was overall “ok” how does a dlc optional class work as argument for not finishing anything?
other than losing interest in the gameplay anyways
