Scum no fun

scum is my fav class rn actually. Probably my most survivable too.

Arbites and its consequences have been nothing but a desaster for future classes

Since Arbites came out people have set the standard of what a DLC class should be

  • Braindead easy to execute even at high level
  • High damage (this was toned down)
  • Have something that will do work for You automatically (in this case, the dog)
  • Be “above” the rejects lore wise (“wow we’re not rejects we feel better!!! I wanna play as more Warhammer mainstream things yayyy”)

Hive Scum came out, and we had so many complaints since this didn’t repeat

Like sure it’s objectively true that leveling Scum on launch was HORRIBLE, and it’s still bad as is rn, but every other complaint came from the fact that Scum wasn’t braindead to play*, high damage could only be accessed with either risk or good aim*, need to do everything themselves to get the value of the class, and it’s another crackhead rather than something “important” in the lore

  • Funnily enough scum at the highest difficulties is braindead easy to play, either spam needles (rampage/stimm crate) or shoot non stop (Desperado) meaning no risk nor aim required, alongside being extremely safe with Nimble + Jittery
