Screen Blanking when Left Clicking

Since the last update (~Oct. 26th 24) if the game is in borderless fullscreen left clicking can randomly cause the screen to blank (or more accurately disappear and the desktop shows up for like a frame) I have also had the game crash once do to this (wish I nabed the log data) Some useful information;

System specs;
CPU: AMD Ryzen R7 5800X3D
GPU: Asus Strix 4090
RAM: 2x 16GB 3600Mtps CAS 18
Install location: Independent x4 g4 M.2 NVME SSD with heatsink
Cooling: Custom Water
Windows: W11 Pro V-23H2 B-22631.4317

Note: Vsync disabled system wide with a FPS cap set to 143hz for my 144hz Full Gsync Display.

Things I have tried;

  1. Checked game files
  2. Checked Windows files
  3. DDUed and reinstalled GPU drivers offline
  4. Switching between DX11-12
  5. Disabling background tasks/services
  6. Full game reinstall whipping all previous data

Switching the game to Exclusive Fullscreen the issue is not present.

WINDOWS IS TO BLAME

Seems to be a bug in the Flip Presentation Model. If you turn that off it no longer blanks when in borderless fullscreen.

Navigate to settings>System>Display>Graphics>Default graphics settings.
Turn off “Optimizations for Windowed games”

Was happening in select other games as well such as PlateUP, same fix of using exclusive fullscreen as well.
