I thought that they will just keep it in the rotation, I actually want that to be the case
Operations section is like a shadow realm, literally nobody plays there, and if Rolling Steel will be there, it will be not that much different if they would have just removed it, you will never find a full squad to play the mission.
I have played the Twins mission a couple of months ago just to test things out, there was me and one another dude, I think there was one more, but I think he left after being downed, not sure.
The point is, I want the mission stay in the rotation, it changes the pace and is actually kinda hard and not really Soloable
That’s what I thought when I first saw complains about new map invading quickplay.
I knew this would happen and I wish I’ve commented on it.
Couldn’t find good meme, so I’ve left it at that.
There’s multiple “Where the hell is Rolling Steel?” threads like this out there because it feels extremely bad to login to specifically experience the new content not even 2-3 weeks after its release and you literally can’t find the map in the rotation for hours.
I’ve been asking in multiple Discords if anyone has seen it in rotation the past 3-4 days. I’ve literally put 10-12 hours in the game the last 3 days and have not seen Rolling Steel once in rotation–this is the new high octane content that just came out and we can’t even play it…?
Its a horrible play experience for your long-standing vets who have run the other maps ad-nauseum and want to play the newer short map. Making it an operation selection is a great idea, as it doesn’t dominate quickplay and it increases the diversity of the shorter mission offerings. Seems like the perfect compromise, yet somehow this is hard for Fatshark. Obviously people are bitching because this is beyond moronic to roll out new content and perpetually hide it from players wanting to play the map.
Yep. It goes the full gamut of over-satiation when a new map comes out for a week or two, then the map will never appear for some players ever because of the number of maps that are in the pool now. RNG replacing system design.
