Continuation of Ripper Bayonet poke doesn't stagger crushers anymore
Ripper Bayonet poke doesn’t stagger Crushers anymore, as in no_stagger, I have the Slam talent node on too.
3 months+ since last big update broke it in July (it may have been sooner, I may have been on a little break prior. Seems like 5 months+, since April, thresholds changed in 1.3?)
Not cool on a weapon requiring you to poke to apply brittle (Can Opener), it’s a major unintended nerf to the weapon. Those stagger thresholds were altered without any real consideration to consequences.
P.S. Shooting with Ripper doesn’t stagger them either.
P.P.S. Unless I’m mistaken and overly tired, it does seem caused by the changed stagger thresholds that changed in version 1.3 vs version 1.2.
The stagger threshold calc doesn’t reach the threshold (brain tired, possible mistakes, and I haven’t looked much further. Maybe this is a case of stuff having stagger_category flamer instead of melee ? I haven’t checked to see if stagger strengths changed.
Bayonet stagger is tagged “flamer”, has “medium” and “killshot” stagger types, thresholds to now clear are 80 and 60, which used to be 50 and 20, the bayonet of base 25 strength would clear it ?
These newish stagger thresholds are harsher for Ogryn as Marx mentioned.
