I believe it would be ideal to have a Try Again option at the end of a failed mission. If you choose to try again you go into the lobby to ready up again. Maybe change gear etc. Those who do not want to, can say no and their spot will be opened up for someone looking for group.

Hard agree. Having this option would definitely help in fostering the social aspect of the game.

There was the general “merge strike teams” option, which was removed, because apparently people FAILED at reading the screen and using it? 
Apparently Fatshark wants to improve it before reenabling.
