Hi, I just wanted to share that my brother and I played some Auric Maelstrom today and encountered Croteam and Azeron.
Azeron was fine, but Croteam kept rushing ahead, aggroing a massive horde of enemies, and then dying—leaving us to deal with the mess. The first time, we didn’t survive, and he mockingly typed “Bad team” in voice chat.
We went for a second game with them, and the same thing happened. He ran off, died early, and spent most of the match dead while still calling us a “Bad team.” Somehow, he teleported to the boss despite being dead, and we managed to kill it together before he died again.
It was both frustrating and hilarious. The fact that these two are still around, doing the same thing more than two years after release, is baffling. I don’t know if they’re cheaters, developers, or if this teleporting-to-the-boss mechanic is somehow normal—but it definitely doesn’t seem right.
