That one made me laugh!!!

It is tempting to get one over. But honestly better to just leave the mission as the match making is so fast like few seconds. No need to prove any point to a random stranger you’re never going to meet again. I don’t bother using votekick, again just leave the match.
In Apex Legends you get a whole load of abuse so in return I made it part of the game to bait the enemy onto them, so they die losing all their loot earned - Ended up becoming the very thing I disliked. I had very unhealthy relationship with that game.
FS can add a mechanic to help against this though. The longer you stay in one area when next door available, then persistent horde can increase intensity infinitely. 100, 1000, 10K horde to give a hint “move on”.
I hate and despise all people who do that. It doesn’t matter if you accidentally provoked DH or deliberately. But, if you leaved the game afterwards, just know that I despise you. Stay and accept your fate if you can’t fight, then leave if you want.
I’d usually agree but he joined half way through the match and I thought he’d gone afk so I just carried on, assuming that he’d just join in or timeout. By the time I got to the final boss elevator I realised he was doing it deliberately. So that’s 20-odd minutes I’d spent soloing the level and I didn’t want to quit that out of principle. I’d just have spent that time doing it all again if I’d not waited tbh.
Because people are affected easily. Make for easy targets.
Sometimes the “bye” option works, but only if you yourself step out. The faster the better.
Saves you the trouble.
Then s/he’d be alone , as usual.
