for render settings, are the graphical options right? the ones in “video” under options
will also revert fov etc?

Y’all are gonna hate me but the hotfix will be rolling out now. I know some of y’all haven’t gotten the chance to screenshot your Render settings yet. I thought the hotfix was coming out tomorrow when I woke up this morning, so this message didn’t come as early as I had planned.
Just wanted to own up to this, as this is on me. I looked at an outdated release calendar. It won’t happen again. o7

all good, usually got the settings memorized 
and only the render settings no less.
emperor may strike me down but for some odd reason though i got “r” for reload in some games and “strg” in others.
that´d make for some unpleasant auric moments

Is there a settings file that we can copy before updating the game? If so, please can you tell me name and location of the file?
If you don’t know how to get to AppData just type %appdata% into the address bar in your File Manager.

Just wanted confirming before doing so and accidentally missing one of there is! Not the end of the world but saving frustration where possible.
That one has render and keybind settings in it. Nothing else looks relevant as far as I can tell.

Actually, it holds gfx settings but the only keybinds it holds are for mods (several hundred rows of them for me). I think keybinds are held with Steam? Not sure.

Thanks, but I have a quick question. Is it possible for you guys to give us the option to put on and take off optics and bayonets on our weapons? I would like to equip a bayonet on my infantry lasgun and take off the optic as well. I like the iron sights
It’s all for nought now anyway…as steam just auto updated! 
It usually requires me to press update but of course on the one update that really affects things if updated too early…it does so automatically facepalm

i think they did a good job this time around, they didn’t even touch your keybindings, i only had to touch a single setting which was volumetric fog
this being said, was the game always this granular or i’m tripping

at least it kept the key binds and loadouts. it changed my (increased) fov back to default though, which in turn made my sens faster. i keep bloom off so can see better what’s behind light sources, but it was on now, and even heretical motion blur.
