I’m Amko the Terrible, I have 187 hours and have leveled 3 Veterans to 30. I haven’t launched the game in a week. I still check the browser app to give me SOME reason to log on, to try a new gun with good stats or fun blessings. So far nothing good has come up in the store for all three characters.
In other news, at least this game reignited my passion in 40K after being pretty avoidant of it for a long time, and I’ve been playing a lot of, and highly recommend, Warhammer 40,000: Gladius - Relics of War if you enjoy Civ-type games and 40K.

Hi, my name is WaaaghZag and I have spent 288 hours in Darktide. I couldn’t stop playing, but slowly I reduced my copium intake and saw the bad side of the coin. The systems around the main experience were bad and I finally saw it for what it is. Now I play a lot less and spend my time offline with Necromunda instead. I hope you can find the help you need too.

I knew from the start that getting involved in Darktide was going to be a mistake, but if we could control ourselves we wouldn’t be addicts would we. Hello, my name is Morrtanius and I tried my best to get addicted to the game. I wanted to get the same fun out of it that I got from Vermintide 2. Yet, the more I tried to tear that fun out of the game, the less it gave me. The more I tried to set up builds and feat combinations, the less rewarding it became, what with all of its systems outside of gameplay being completely contingent on RNG. I tried. I really wanted to get addicted to it the same way I got addicted to Vermintide.
But I couldn’t. My last session was a week ago. I still log in at times, but then I take a look at my half-started builds that have such a minuscule chance of spawning the right weapon combinations for me to enjoy the unique gameplay experience they might theoretically enable, I find myself blocked by a wall of RNG and simply get disheartened. Then I log back out.

Hello. My name is Ghutts…and I’m a Reject. I currently have 190 hours in game. Recently I nearly clawed my eyes out when the Special conditions still had not been updated after almost a month. I’m trying to get help. I have a few friends that are going through withdrawal as well. Hopefully with support and understanding I can stop playing this game and move on with another game that won’t make me feel so ashamed to admit that we’re together.

i have 280 hours played, last played it on january 8th and logged in once since then. I am very disappointed with the way this game is going. Am i sad that i spent 40 € on it? Not really, it was fun for a time. But i regret the time spent on Darktide.
But i’d like to believe that i learned something here: Unless the inevitable announcement AND future actions of FS are convincing, i’m out. And i hope other rejects will do the same!

My name is Brother Calxious and I have over 150 hours in Dark Tide, plus, I’m banned on the discord for making jokes about the dodge mechanic. Luckily, I don’t care about the browser extension. I haven’t logged in over 48 hours. May the Emperor save me.
BTW, dodge mechanic isn’t that great.

I’m pretty addicted to the gameplay in Darktide as well. In fact, if your a mammal on the planet Earth, then technically your an addict. Our brain’s reward system categorises everything we do into a hierarchy based on what it thinks benefits our survival. The more we do things that it thinks is good for our survival, the more dopamine it gives us to make us high.

Call me WBR. I have almost 430 hours in Darktide and I log in every day. Besides the shop, broken cosmetics, missing crafting, and lack of true player agency, I enjoy every minute of it.

Gladius is currently only 4 dollars on steam, 90% off until the 30th, and many of it’s DLCs are also on sale. If y’all are looking for another Warhammer 40K game and like Civ, it’s really good!

Hello i have many names and i have spent 450 hours in Darktide - feels like an addict i know, but i go out in between and play drums.
I would like you reduce the RNG aspects of the game drastically, but a little RNG here and there is maybe ok.
I’d never use the browser app to check the shop; i only do that when online - and thats pretty much and enough already.
I hope the game recovers from bad reputation and succeeds long time.
