Psyker Charge attacks cause explosions when under critical Peril

Issue Description:

When starting a Warp attack under 97% peril, the psyker previously would not explode. This allowed fully charging staves up to 100% and casting 3 Brain Bursts 0 → 45% → 90% → 100%.

With the new patch, any charge activity in the critical peril range causes an explosion. This includes holding a staff or BB charge using right click from 0-100% then casting the ability.

In the attached BB video, I use left click to auto charge and cast BB to 100% Peril (note: left click to charge BB works normally, even if Peril would exceed 100%). On the final cast in the clip, I used right click to charge until it hit 100% Peril (but was not fully charged). I then held left click and released right to complete the cast, which lead to an explosion. Similar for the staff clip, but right click was held until the cast was fully charged, then left click to cast → explosion (use of BB to charge in the staff clip was for expediency. I have recreated the same result by holding a staff charge from 0->100%).

Yea Peril really seems to be acting strangely after the patch. I keep exploding myself when I didn’t before the patch.

The brain burst one is odd, after playing 3hours of psyker yesterday I didn’t have any issues with brain burst killing m.

The staff one makes sense, the shock staff adds peril on cast so you’re already at 100% on charging and then the cast adds more and causes the explosion. That’s how it has always worked.

Brain Burst will have this behavior when you use the right click to start the charge. Just left clicking seems to work normally.

Re-testing in 1.0.21 and the same behavior exists for both staff and BB.

I’ve noticed a bug the past few days where peril will just spike after a BB cast. So it increases as normal whilst charging, then spikes normally when it pops, but then spikes a further 10% or more afterwards. This is all when just using left click to target and charge too. Didn’t notice too much at first, but now I can’t unsee it, pretty easy to replicate since it seems to happen pretty much every time. Anyone else?
