Prime time

just now had 7 attempts to play a Damnation Mission.
first two someone joined couldnt wait for 2 more players, died.
2 attempts failed at 1st encounter, rush ahead die.
5th attempt a Level 17 joined, GL. I left.
6th attempt again not waiting for 4th operative, started and failed within first 5 minutes.
In the 7th we made it to end stage and failed like 30 seconds after activating.
depressing really.
What is the problem?

Gee I wonder…

it was more about, why is everyone so bad at the game, because i’m really not a pro player and if team is ok i can do damnation all time.
so many players dont ping enemies, rush too fast then die, dont stick together, pass whole groups of enemies as if it os not needed to clear areas before proceeding, some hit enemies but dont notice they are not dead, but will stand up and hit them in the back or attack people behind. I have ssen players on Damnation that didnt realise they get hit by 3 mobs for like 3 times and didnt react, mostly veteran.
All fine, but why play Damnation then?
I played the whole day. Its a primetime thing. Thir morning was all fine, then from like 5pm on it became more worse.
pugs on primetime ask for a lot of patience and frustration toleranz.
For more than two hours i couldnt finish a mission sucessfully.

It really seems to vary a lot. Some days everything is smooth, and other days I get almost exclusively people who have never heard of sticking together, and/or people who die to regular trash mobs. It’s just random luck.

Edit: As for being hit and not reacting, that can actually be netcode. I’ve had it happen several times where there is no sound, no visual cue for being hit, no warning at all, and then suddenly the server will register 3-4 attacks at once (that for sure happened over time) and finally warn me that I was being attacked.

uh that sounds bad, have not experienced that.
Do we know where Servers are or if they have more regional servers?
If the Servers are in Sweden, Britain or Amsterdam or alike i’m lucky.
Not sure what about East and West Coast. When playing very late i allways see a drop of players to then seem to have US people start playing and it fills up again.

Yeah it’s very bad when it happens. Not saying there aren’t people who tunnelvision and just have no awareness, but… completely silent enemies are fairly common, and yeah sometimes the server or netcode just decides to que up several attacks before letting the client know.
