Currently, if a player has a negative threat modifier (like Hive Scum’s one when you can reduce your threat by running), Bursters Will ignore them Even if they’re on their face pushing them away
I suspect this is also why there’s so many issues currently with their path finding and early detonations
Steps to Reproduce (Required):
Select Hive scum / Veteran with the talent that reduces your threat
Go near a poxburster
Watch the shenanigans start (them ignoring You, their explosions feeling bigger, and so and so)
also their explosions apparently got bigger and this wasn’t logged anywhere. the danger zone mod confirms this, the circle has to be redrawn. and the outer explosion damage is gone as well, you get biffed for the full damage regardless of whether it dives into your character or you get caught by the edge.
Mister E’s recent video show that there’s mostly likely player hurtbox changes, making each player be larger than they actually are when it comes to stuff like explosions and enemy attacks.
Something should be done about this problem…
My last mission, completed in Auric Histg 30% of the map before being hit… first thing that have hit me… a poxburster with giant explosion. Then a second… then the third.
1 time I encountered the fact I could not push it.
2nd time, the poxburster was a seeker warhead. Pushed it… but never wanted to explode… finally exploded and got down…
3rd time, the thing was pushed by a teammate and exploded. We have think we were safe due to distance. We both got killed.
