I’m honestly still surprised that such a small quality-of-life improvement hasn’t been implemented - or wasn’t designed this way from the start.
So, we have a training yard in the hub. There are three potions placed there, one of each type. Presumably, they’re meant to help players learn how to use them and to test builds. The problem is that each potion can only be used once.
When I think about it, it feels like almost any developer would have made them replenish automatically - but Fatshark didn’t. It’s not a tragedy or anything, but come on - this is such a small and easily implementable QoL change. How was this overlooked throughout the entire development cycle?
It’s literally the first thing I think about whenever I’m messing around with builds in the training yard. To reset the potions, you have to restart the lobby - which means disbanding your group if you’re there with friends. And this is a four-player game, yet there aren’t even four copies of each potion available.
When I was teaching a friend how to play, I realized I could only demonstrate how a potion works once - and if we wanted to try again, we’d have to restart the entire lobby.
Again, I’m not saying this is some groundbreaking or absolutely essential change. But it’s genuinely the first thing that comes to mind every time I enter the training yard.
