Post Game Screen

So…are we ever going to have a post-game statistical break down screen? What is the general consensus on this topic?

tyvm good sir

I honestly hope it will get scrapped… In my experience, it primarily leads to players leaning more towards solo play, to get better stats

Notice how hedges reply is framing being good at the game in a negative light, if you are good at the game you have evil “glory” stats as opposed to the good “cooperative play” stats.

never mind the fact that there are no studies that show being good at video games makes you toxic.

never mind the fact that there are no studies that show being competitive is worse than being cooperative.

never mind the fact that there are no studies that show being competitive and cooperative are mutually exclusive.

The entire framing of this issue is insane, and toxic. All of the best players in this games community are streamers and modded realm v2 players, and all of them are nice people.

Consensus is that most people want a scoreboard and a few casual people trying to break out of malice think its toxic.

Way to generalize

imagine calling everyone in a game toxic for liking a scoreboard, and also implying that they are stupid and will be manipulated into playing badly by the presence of a score board, and doing this non-ironically.

Attacking the entire community like this is incredibly toxic.

Another thread. I use the scoreboard to improve my game. I want is as detailed as possible and I want the best tools possible. I do not consider myself toxic. I will not resort to name calling or trying to make anyone feel bad when I game with them.

I have seen nothing to indicate that chasing green circles make people any worse than chasing a weekly or a penance. The people who chase green circles will chase kills regardless. I see people playing badly here, I saw people playing badly in Vermintide. Sometimes I’m the one who plays badly or who takes risks to find books or a grims.

But yeah, the scoreboard can’t come soon enough. I have not seen a single thing that would hint at its presence or absence moving the needle to how people treat their fellow gamers.

you literally just generalized that scoreboards make people play only to get stats. this is a virtue signal that you would never play like that, you are the good person who always plays cooperatively and never plays the bad competitive way.

however cooperation and competition are not mutually exclusive, so that is the fundamental flaw in your position, and the position of all the others who like to demonize this community.

Yea the real truth is the people who dont want a scoreboard are just afraid to see how badly they play. They are the ones who in VT2 consistently only got a green circle for damage taken.

No, I did not generalize  I said that it PRIMARILY lead to x happening, in my experience… not always as the other post suggested before editing  Subtle difference, but it’s there

yup generalize: make a general or broad statement by inferring from specific cases.

i’m not saying its wrong to do so, I just think it’s funny you do it and you criticize others for it in almost the same breath, then also deny it.

how are people supposed to take your point of view seriously when you lack integrity?

its amazing how easy it is to eviscerate the nonsense duplicitous arguments against scoreboards.

I miss the VT 2 screen with a friendlyfire stat. though FF dont matter in this game other then wasted ammo.
