I have played DarkTide since release, however since spawns broke 7-8 months back i just haven’t been able to enjoy the game. Frankly, I haven’t played at all for around 6 months, it’s just not a 'tide game without, you know, TIDES OF ENEMIES.
Frankly, I think it’s embarrassing that the devs won’t even acknowledge that one of the most important aspects of their game is completely broken, but alas, many such cases…
However, this is not all doom and gloom, because the new modifier is frankly awesome, and a lot of thickset horde enemies with high mass and HP really makes the game feel like a tide game. It makes up for the rest of the spawning logic being borked. I’ve played many hours since the event went live and they have really enjoyed reacquainting myself with a game I truly do love.
So please, keep the modifier. It makes the spawning issues bearable.
Yup. I requested they keep the modifier on the same day it was released I think lol. Loved it instantly. Quite a few similar threads have happened on the forums since so you’re not alone.
It is damn fun. So much so I can’t bring myself to play anything other than the Moebian condition!
make another version of this where they don’t respond to suppression and have groaner run speeds. just unflinching speedy armored hordes womping on you.
I second this. Infected Moebian 21st feels great and I love have tankier hordes that I actually have to chew through on Hi-Intensity. I can’t overstate how great it is.
If Fatshark wants to add a version with Water Cartel armour for missions in the Torrent (or elsewhere) I’d love that too. Just let us keep this fantastic addition to the regular modifier pool, please.
