Please Fix things broken in last big update(s)

Everybody loves new stuff etc, but breaking thing in major updates then leaving them unfixed for months is not cool and really takes away from the game.

e.g. Ripper bayonet not staggering crushers anymore since last major update, it’s a rather fun-sapping bug. This may be an Ogryn-wide issue and and may have deeper implications (cue Sunny meme)

I’m guessing some of these are just numbers in some tables that got neglected after some other values were tweaked, and should be ~easy fixes, but it still requires a fix. Don’t make me tap the sign…

Ogryn definitely needs some rebalance for his OG melees. Pickaxe out the box does more impact than running slam on his OG melees. Just smashing into ragers/maulers/bulwarks and tossing them everywhere. Ogryn bayonet should have gotten some love when the Lucius one did. Its basically just there to apply Can Opener, if you have that blessing. That too should get overhauled pretty significantly.

i’d be happy if i don’t keep hanging in orbit about every second mission. sometimes even when switching characters. it can’t be that hard to just load someone into the mourningstar and populate it later.

same when you can’t quit the end screen after a match. nothing happens and you can go on only after a while. especially bad when you joined a match that just ended with a defeat.

and please change that ASS penance to something useful, like 100 games without “in a row” so people stop quitting as soon as they’re down.

Maps I think are one of the things that break their hotfix size limits based on how Stingray packages its map files (you have to download that entire map again for any changes). The true hotfixable targets should be the single variable tweaks in their external lua files. That should be well within their hotfix budget (since the majority of it would be for adding cosmetics), it’s just that they probably don’t have the managerial permission or manpower to maintain that.

i see, limitations of the engine stringray.

it is not convenient then.

what would be the size of one map if doing changes? i guess more than 1gb?
now i see why they only release all the fixes with big updates, but then they can be very big.

i honestly wouldn’t mind constant hotfixes if they were somewhat about, 4-5gb.

sadly not good quality control, many things breaking and then for important stuff, we gotta wait for the big next updates for fixes.

there are still some spots where people can exit out of the map… in relay station the elevator hard soft locking people making them stuck forever. and they have to leave or rejoin in order to fix it.

It’s mainly the xbox/gamepass update certification which is why they lump so many things together in bigger patches less often.
