Yea at this point go to settings and put camera shake to 0 trust
You can deffo see my vids about how I hit an enemy with ranged and they die after taking cover it’s kinda funny to see

It’s easier to discern in this video if you’re having issue with the camera shake in the previous one
dealing with people online if you cant be sure they aint cheating rather.
see, one doesnt play “co-op” and suddenly likes a random bum from around the globe so much that he doesnt mind him fkking up his spare time activity.
people in this game are a variable to difficulty, by now many settings can be solo’ed so they are already “useless” as a factor.
add cheats to the remaining ones and the game is done for.
multiplayer is multiplayer, the fact we shoot in the same direction doesnt negate the fact we compete for the best performance.
otherwise i can go doom eternal nightmare again and enjoy fast paced action against ai ![]()
so yeah, as long as the other guy stutters just as much and cant use any cheats i prefer it that way, the other isnt even an option.
at least its an equal competition that way.(minus the cheap talents and weaponry on occasion)
given how many can be tricked to the point of external devices i guess they regard having no option a better solution than filling holes everywhere ad nausea.
imagine my laughter when some expensive cheat device was made useless in bf6, shame they couldnt make it blow up the place as well, would have had my ears ready for nearby explosions ![]()
i am not, since the vanilla ui is diarrhea on a screen and no options even close to custom_ui, that be the last day of darktide for me.
number of janky matches i can count on one hand a year, rather have the odd one failed than enduring what they deem an ui.
Which seems like a curious choice. Afaik usage of server authoritative approach is not dictated by their game engine. You would think it was chosen to limit cheating in the game, but then there are multiple mods which clearly allow players for far more if that approach was fully utilised.
I mean, what I intend to communicate is that all forms of actions the player can take in gameplay are subject to the host/server auth. There is a lot of information available to the client that players normally can’t see which is what many mods tap in to.
It’s 100% a choice that they made, not a byproduct of any possible limitations.
Someone with a better memory or more time to dig can maybe back me up, but some time around Havoc release or a little after, I think, they announced they moved servers/server providers and that is when I first started having major issues.
I recognize there were people with issues before that, but nothing changed on my end at that time and it became a much worse experience on average and I needed the whole “guarantee” mod suite where I didn’t before.
Then why don’t you just play the solo mod?
Another utterly shite and game-ruining experience with randoms where I couldn’t change weapon, got stuck in certain animations, couldn’t dodge-slide effectively, weird queued up attacks happened etc. etc.
Total d0gsh*t networking.
i do, doesnt change the fact cheaters are literally the lowest
in any game and personally if i could would carpet bomb whole cities if they show a certain density of em. f collateral damage, wipe them all ![]()
Its a fairly casual co-op game. I really don’t see why cheating would bother you. Oh no their damage number is slightly artificially inflated… Oh no? Like sure if every game was 3 people running around with invincibility cheats and nuking the entier map then the game would get pretty boring, but other then that I really would not care if someone in my lobby was hacking in a way that didn’t impact my gameplay significantly.
by that logic we could get rid of any laws in certain low density zones as well. its only the countryside, why do you care, you can always move to a private oil rig if rampant murder bothers you.
again, in order to bear peoples presence theres got to be social contracts, in this case here based on fairness and a level playing field.
ONE dude thinking hes the hot
and having a zit-faced grin while ruining the experience of 3 others is one too many for the whole population.
how so? I dont play to beat the a.i by now, the only meaningful increase is beating “you”.
if a gun scum thinks he can go ham, the race is on and he will have to sweat for every kill.
now one troglodyte trying to boost his sorry existence with cheating makes me wanna do stuff that would give hitler nightmares.
I dont play the game to race for damage, I play the game to get better at it and see consistent skill growth, and also just for fun. I mean you can just go play a PvP game if you want to compete against people lol.

and what is “better” if the performance in comparison isnt earned through honest means?
indeed, there will be only solo 100% speedruns left to determine who is "better ![]()
my point stands, cheaters to the wall all of em.
back in the day of lan parties there were pretty clear consequences… shame its all digital now ![]()
besides, i aint got access to such arsenal so bikini bottom remains safe ![]()
edit: forgot one important thing
can just go play a PvP game
yes, that ive been doing for 30 odd years, until cheating there became so rampant i reduced my quake live matches to people i knew personally and locally.
couldnt find a battlefield match without a dickless prick wallhacking from a vehicle.
wheres the sport in that?

I mostly just compare against myself and try to improve fundamentals in general. You will always be able to take less hits or be more accurate or etc. Yeah I do pay attention to my percentage of team total damage, but if I end up on a team with another good player who does high damage I dont think “Oh man they beat me by 2% damage” we won, it was a easy game because I had another good player, move on. Most of the fun comes from games where my team members aren’t particularly good, racing to kill things faster is hardly fun or challenging.
is hardly fun or challenging.
depends, if i meet genuinely good people its good sports without “hate”.
that cant be said for script abusers for example.
just compare against myself
fair, but say extreme example someone hacks whole rooms empty by perma aoe ?
whats there to compare ?
how fast i can run through an empty map?
yep, best dopamine is with the rest down and up to you to shine or fail, thats based on a truthful match prior though.
seen script kiddies hanging on rails and left there to rot, neither picked up later, the match was still spoiled.

I mean in auric? Id just leave and probably block that player. As long as its not literally every game with those sorts of players I really would not mind much. I would way rather deal with that then the current server authoritative issues.
well, we wont see eye to eye in that one.
then again i hardly ever got noticeable connection issues.
some factors to it too, since i explicitly picked my house back in the day based the internet quality available.
silent dogs/floppy bursters, sure but most of the time sub 40 latency with commands going through on my end when they need to.
blocked one script kiddy the other day as well but made damn sure he couldnt go as ham as he intended to.
My internet connection is generally good. I play plenty of PvP games with no issues, its really just with dark tide because the servers seem extra fussy. It might not be a issue if you have a REALLY good internet connection, but my connection is plenty good to play any other game with no noticeable issues and yet I still have issues here pretty consistently.
i dont doubt that, still we got “different” priorities when it comes to how a game is enjoyable.
and thats fine ![]()
you have a REALLY good internet connection
latency wise, yes. my next connection node is across the street a spits distance away if the wind comes from the back ![]()
